Valerie originally moved to Steamboat in 1996. She claims to have tried to leave this beautiful place a couple of times, but always makes her way back. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2004 and loves that you are always learning something new. Steamboat is where she got her dog. "Sky," who she calls her "little baby."
Kendal graduated from Colorado Mountain College Veterinary Technician program in 2010. She prides herself in proficiency and new knowledge in her field. She loves to read, hike, and camp with her family and enjoys our great Routt County lifestyle.
Natasha "Tash" is our little Kiwi import. She came to the United States 2 years ago and volunteered for one summer and never left us. Thank Goodness! She loves learning the latest techniques in the veterinary field but also plays hard as a local rugby player. She appreciates what the veterinary field has to offer.
Renee, Veterinary Technician
Renee grew up in the Chicago area and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology from Southern Illinois University. She then moved to Hawaii to work for the National Park Service as an interpretive guide, as well as a Dolphin trainer for Dolphin Quest. Feeling a little bit of Island fever, she moved to Southern California to gain over eleven years experience at a small animal veterinary clinic. Renee and her husband decided to moved to Steamboat for a better quality of life for themselves, as well as their little girl. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, snowboarding, and hiking with her favorite companion, Cosmo.
